The first RetinaScope will be a handheld, non-mydriatic retinal imaging camera that is low cost and easy to use. The RetinaScope will be a vital tool for the scalability of retina screening for eye diseases such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Age-related Macular degeneration (AMD) and Glaucoma.

RetinaScope BV is in setting up or participating in international consortia to run pilots with all parties involved in the provision of innovative and enhanced teleophthalmology services in developed and developing countries. To achieve this RetinaScope BV pays a lot of attention to the integration of the RetinaScope camera in existing and developing telehealthcare services. The goal is to keep the operational and administrative  burden for the client and the clinician as small as possible.

Acuity testing

IDCP Scotland is developing an acuity testing suite in cooperation with the University of Strathclyde and NHS Scotland.
